This week we dive into the words of Jacob. While we've already had the chance to learn from him in previous chapters, this is the beginning of the Book of Jacob and his teachings about pride, the allegory of the Olive Tree, and how we can understand the Savior through a better understanding of the Book of Mormon. It offers a chance to know Jesus Christ through the perspective of a prophet that loved service and loved each of us enough to keep these records. This week, think of what it meant to be entrusted with the plates. What does the lord entrust us with in helping serve those around us?Monday - Tuesday: Jacob 1-4
Wednesday: NO CLASS (holiday)
Thursday-Friday: Jacob 5-7
I am so grateful to Sister Gartz who will serve as substitute while I am out on paternity leave. I know that you will be excellent students and strive through dilligent study to help one another learn through the Spirit. I will see you at the end of November and will miss your smiling faces and amazing knowledge in the mornings!
